Why can't I transfer pay?

If you are unable to make a transfer, it is usually due to one of the following reasons:

1. Check your balance and limits

  • βš–οΈ Minimum Balance: You must have at least $5 available to make a transfer. See How is my available balance calculated?

  • πŸ“ˆ Available Wages: You can only transfer up to 50% of the wages you have already earned and that your employer has approved.

  • 🚫 Transfer Limits: You may have reached a daily, pay-period, or self-imposed limit. Learn more about What are the transfer limits?

2. Check your account status

  • 🏦 Banking Info: If your debit card has expired or is no longer active, update your details in the Accounts tab. If you need help updating this, check How do I update my bank account or direct deposit?

  • ⏸️ Paused or Disabled: This usually happens during a leave of absence or if your payroll settings are updating. Why has my account been paused or disabled?

  • πŸ“† Advance Pay: If you are salaried and paid in advance, you cannot transfer pay between payday and the end of the pay period, as you have already received these wages.

πŸ“ Note for Connecticut Residents

State regulations mean Instant Transfers are not available. You can still use our free Standard Transfer (1–3 business days).

Still need help? If none of the above apply, please take a screenshot of the error message and message our Support Team via the Hub. Including a screenshot helps us solve your issue much faster!
