
Why is my balance negative?
A negative balance is usually a temporary "pause" caused by a reported absence or a change in your hours after you have already transferred funds. It is not a debt you have to pay back out of pocket.
🛠️ How to fix it
You do not need to take any manual action. Here is how your balance gets back on track:
- Work your shifts: As you complete regular working hours, your earnings will grow.
- Automatic Correction: These new earnings will first "fill up" the negative balance.
- Back to Positive: Once your available balance crosses zero, you will be able to transfer pay early again.
⚠️ Important to Know: You will still receive payment for your paid leave (sick pay, etc.) on your normal payday directly from your employer. A negative balance in the app simply means those specific funds aren't available for early transfer right now.
❓ Still seems wrong?
If you have been back at work for more than 48 hours and the balance hasn't moved:
- Check your "Punches": Ensure your recent shifts have been approved by your manager in your company’s timekeeping system
- Sync Time: It can sometimes take 1-2 business days for your employer's latest updates to reflect in the app.
- Contact Support: If your hours are approved but the app hasn't updated after two days, reach out to us via the Help section in the app.
